I was thinking...
~Last February 29th I was finishing college and looking forward to getting married.
~This February 29th I am a SAHM with a 9 month old. We go to a wonderful community church, and Bob has finished his degree.
~Next February 29th Olivia will be in school (eek!). And in all likelihood, we will be living in the Midwest.
Most of you have heard by now that we are indeed moving in a few weeks. Bob is going to be the pastor of a fantastic group of believers. They are a small group right now, so Bob will continue working his secular job for awhile. Hopefully the church will grow quickly and Bob will be able to be full-time before long.
This has been quite a journey for us. Through a series of unforeseen circumstances, some good, some heartbreaking, God has led us here, to this place, both physically and spiritually. We have no idea what the future holds, but for right now we are sure of God's leading in our lives. (Sometime I hope to get my thoughts together and share more of our testimony from the last 5 years. Today I am just too preoccupied with moving details, sleep deprivation, and a pile of dirty laundry that desperately needs attention!)
I'll try to keep you updated with the move and our progress in finding a house. And if anyone has any tips for moving and moving with a baby, please let me know!!

That's so exciting that you'll be moving soon and starting a new 'phase' of life. We love being able to be more involved in the local church and Stephen has NOT missed HSBC one bit- big surprise. :) Anyways, as far as moving tips...we tried to do as much as possible during nap times and after bed time to eliminate extra help from Esther. We kept a really detailed descrip in a notebook of every box and it's contents (esp since we're in a temporary home now til we move -again- this spring) The other thing that helped was labeling every box with stickers according to the room. Esther like playing with the stickers, but i gave her ones that didn't matter so it wouldn't mess up our system. The other thing is we had someone babysit her the day we loaded and unloaded and that was HUGE. Not having to worry about her being in the way was a big help. Our church hired movers so that was a blessing also. Hope it helps! shannon
So where is it that you are moving? We will definitely be in prayer for you as you continue to minister in the way the Lord has for you.
