Staying Busy
We went to the seminary picnic on Saturday. The weather was beautiful, and we were able to catch up with a lot of friends. Here we are with one of Bob's professors and his family.
I also finished teaching on Friday. It still hasn't hit me that I don't have to get up and go to work any more. Instead, I'll just be getting up all night long with Olivia. :-)
And speaking of Olivia, I'm walking, eating spicy food, drinking red raspberry leaf tea, and driving down bumpy roads, and still no luck. I even checked out when the next full moon is - May 2nd. Oh well. They tell me that nobody has ever been pregnant forever. I'll have to see what other old wives' tales I can scrounge up...

A New Bible Study

In other news, Bob started his last semester of classes this week. It's always a difficult adjustment at the beginning of each semester when we get used to a new schedule. Thankfully there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's hard to believe that graduation is just around the corner! Somebody jokingly mentioned to me that it would be nice if I waited until after graduation to give birth. That way I could stand up with Bob on stage like all the other seminary wives do when their husbands graduate (except I would be 41 1/2 weeks pregnant). Wouldn't those be some lovely pictures?
Speaking of being pregnant, everything continues to go well. We're at 26 weeks, and I have another doctor's appointment on Monday. Last weekend Bob and I got the baby's room/guest room/office all set up. (Actually it was more like Bob moved the furniture where I wanted it.) As soon as I have things put away and stuff on the wall I'll post some pictures of her room. I will also attempt to get a decent picture of myself in there somewhere.

Baby Makes Three!
The pregnancy has gone well so far. We've been able to hear a strong heartbeat. And I've finally quit throwing up, which is a blessing. (My kids at school were starting to ask me if I had a Sprite for breakfast every day. They had no idea that I was pregnant. They were just jealous that they could not have soda for breakfast.)
I haven’t had too many weird cravings, although I've eaten my fair share of green and black olives the past few weeks. I also think that the baby likes M&M's.
Now that Bob and I are, Lord willing, joining the ranks of "parents", feel free to pass along any good parenting advice!
